Christmas Treasure Hunt: Minesweeper

Created for the r/SoloDevelopment Winter 2024 Game Jam!

Combines the themes "Beneath the Surface" and "Hot and Cold" in a game where you dig beneath the polar ice while following Rudolph's nose to lead you to a hidden present.

Oh no! A blizzard at the North Pole has buried a very special Present under a thick layer of ice.

Luckily, Rudolph's nose glows brighter as he gets closer to the hidden present! Follow the glow and dig with your pickaxe to uncover the present.

When you get tired, you can dig up and eat buried treats to refresh your strength.

But beware the hidden lava geysers... dig one up and it's game over! So keep an eye out for the orange lava splatters when you're digging. The number of dots indicates the number of adjacent geysers.

W,A,S,D = Move around

Left-click = Dig

Right-click = Place flag

(TIP: Place flags on tiles you suspect might be hiding geysers to prevent them from accidentally being dug up)
